We believe that: i) preventing violence and conflict; ii) designing and facilitating evidence-based peacemaking efforts with broad-based coalitions early in the conflict phase; iii) addressing the effects and impact of violence and conflict; iv) re/forming systems and institutions for citizen-responsive governance and peace-sensitive and inclusive development, investment, and political processes; v) co-creating viable states with increasing self-reliance; and vi) redefining balanced, principled, and coherent multilateralism, will break cycles of violence and conflict.

Problem Statement

Violence, conflict, ethno-political competition and fragmentation, governance challenges, and unprecedented geopolitical divisions and polarisation, are major barriers to sustainable development in Africa. The Peace and Security Advisory is an applied research and policy consulting firm that is co-creating solutions to mediate and break cycles of violence and conflict in Africa.

Healed, empowered, and dignified lives; reconciled, cohesive, and safe societies; inclusive and citizen-responsive governance; peace-sensitive development and investment; viable self-reliant states in Africa; and balanced, principled, and coherent multilateralism.

Mission

Provide paid advisory services, technical assistance, and training to contribute to timely, evidence based, innovative, and resourced co-created problem solving and decision making that informs peacemaking and peace agreements and policies, strategies, programmes, and investments of governments, intergovernmental and non-governmental entities, development partners, and the private sector.
